Suigetsu Gama, established in 1870, is an old pottery workshop know for its Mishirazu Persimmon design. Its pieces feature its own zaffer pigment and glazes. The flower, animal, and other designs on them are all hand-drawn. The workshop's pottery has received high acclaim for its simple designs that never get old. The hundreds of products in the shop can be used in everyday life: they are made somewhat thicker than normal for increased sturdiness and are microwave and oven-safe. You can also try making your own pottery. Only at this workshop can you paint a piece formed with your own hands. It's an experience that's not to be missed when visiting Aizumisato.
